Meet the creators of Tailormade Andalucia
Tailormade Andalucia was created to help show visitors the true beauty and diversity of the province of Cadiz. It's co-founders, Sam Lister and James Monro have combined their many years of experience and their love of the region to design a unique and personal company that allows its visitors to get closer to Cadiz. Mixing innovative ideas and personal attention, their tailormade itineraries and packages are always composed with each individual client in mind, thus ensuring memorable experiences for all their guests.
Sam Lister
Before settling in the Costa de la Luz, Sam spent many years living in Girona and Madrid. Graduating from Leeds University with BA honours in Spanish and with a distinction in spoken Spanish, he decided to move to the Costa de la Luz. And so began his love affair with the region. He started off coaching surfing and teaching English while residing in the coastal town of Conil de la Frontera. He then worked for a provincial tourism magazine where he helped co-ordinate distribution and sales in a large part of the province. His job allowed him to develop a very in-depth knowledge of the province and its tourism industry. He gradually realised that many visitors to the area were not experiencing the true Cadiz. With this in mind, he decided to co-found Tailormade Andalucia.
James Monro
James graduated from Leeds University with BA honours in Spanish and Geography. Having lived in Oviedo and having travelled most of Spain, returning soon after graduating was inevitable. James initially moved to Marbella. Through his work he gained in-depth knowledge of Spanish real estate. But he was not living the quality of life for which he had come to Southern Spain. He evenutally decided to move to Conil de la Frontera in Cadiz Province. After much time working in the tourism industry in Chiclana, he decided to employ his experience in client care and client relations by co-founding Tailormade Andalucia.
